What is Zundus Marketplace and how does it work? Zundus Marketplace is an online resale platform created by Muslim women, for Muslim women. It allows you to buy and sell modest fashion items directly within our community. Sellers list their items, buyers browse and purchase, and Zundus provides the space, structure, and community guidelines to make the process simple and respectful.

What Is Early Access? Early Access is a limited launch phase where users who signed up before January 1 are granted early selling permissions before Zundus opens publicly.

Early Access allows us to:

  • Launch core functionalities initially
  • Identify and fix issues early
  • Improve flows while continuously scaling
  • Build alongside our founding community This phase is intentional as it allows us to launch thoughtfully and evolve with user feedback.

Who can buy and sell on Zundus Marketplace?

  • Zundus is open to women, with a focus on serving Muslim women and modest fashion needs
  • Browsing and buying requires an account
  • Selling is currently limited to users with Early Access seller permissions

If you’re unsure whether you have seller access, please wait at least 48 hours to be granted seller permissions or contact support.

Do I need to create an account to buy or sell? Yes. Creating an account helps keep our community safe and allows you to track listings, purchases, and messages.

Is there a fee to use Zundus Marketplace? Listing on Zundus is free. When an item sells, a 15% service fee is deducted from the sale to support platform operations. Shipping costs are clearly displayed before checkout and paid separately.

For Sellers

What Can I Sell? You can sell modest clothing, accessories, and related items that align with categories listed on the site. Items must be clean, wearable, and accurately described.

Items that are counterfeit, inappropriate, or damaged beyond normal wear are not allowed.

Once seller permissions are granted, click Create Listing from your dashboard. Add the item title, description, category, condition, price, and upload clear photos. During listing creation, you will also enter shipping details, including the carrier, package weight, and dimensions.

Before submitting your first listing, you will be prompted to create a Stripe account so payouts can be issued when your item sells.

Is there a limit on how many items someone can list Initially there will be a limit of a maximum 10 posted items per user. This limit is to ensure all sellers are being thoughtful about the items they are posting.

How does the listing verification process work? During Early Access, all listings are reviewed before becoming visible on the marketplace. This helps us maintain quality, accuracy, and alignment with Zundus community guidelines.

Once a listing is submitted:

  • It enters a review queue
  • The listing is checked for completeness, accuracy, and guideline alignment
  • If approved, it becomes visible to buyers
  • If changes are needed, the seller may be asked to update the listing via am email notification

Review timelines are set for 48 hours during the Early Access phase. Any updates or changes to the process will be communicated transparently.

How do I set a price for my item? You set your own price. We recommend considering the item’s condition and original value along with understanding in order to resale it should be reasonably priced.

How do I manage inquiries or offers from buyers? Buyers can message you directly through the platform. Please keep all communication respectful within Zundus.

When and how do I get paid after my item sells? Payments are processed through the platform. Once the sale is completed and the buyer receives the item, funds are released to you according to our payout schedule.

What should I do if a buyer cancels? Please report the issue by emailing help@zundusmarketplace.com so we can assist.

For Buyers

How do I search for items? You can browse by category, size, or condition, or use the search bar to find specific items.

How do I know if an item fits or is the right size? Check the description carefully and message the seller if you need more details or measurements.

How do I make an offer or buy an item? You can purchase at the listed price or message the seller.

Is my payment secure? Yes. Payments are processed securely using Stripe (third party payment platform) to protect both buyers and sellers.

What if the item isn’t as described? If there is an issue, please contact support using the “Contact Us” at the bottom of the Home Page so we can review the situation.

Can I return an item? All purchases are final due to the second-hand nature of our platform, we do not accept returns or exchanges. If you believe that the item was misrepresented, damaged, counterfeit, or you need assistance, please send an email to help@zundusmarketplace.com for our admins to review on a case-by-case basis.

Can I ask the seller questions before buying? Yes, the platform has a messaging feature between buyers and sellers. We encourage open and respectful communication between all parties.

How will I receive my item (shipping or pickup)? When the seller ships your items, a tracking number is available for you. The shipping carrier will be displayed once an item is purchased.

Community & Safety

How does Zundus protect my personal information? We take privacy seriously and only use your information to operate the platform securely between the buyer and seller.

What do I do if I experience harassment or inappropriate behavior? Report the issue immediately. We do not tolerate disrespectful behavior.

Are there community guidelines I have to follow? Yes. All users are expected to be honestinteract respectfully and uphold our values as Muslim women.

Platform Terms & Policies

What is Zundus’s refund or return policy? Our policies are designed to be fair to both buyers and sellers and are outlined clearly in the refund policy section of our site. Link

What are the rules about condition descriptions (e.g., Gently Used)? Items must be described honestly. Misrepresentation may lead to removal or account action.

What happens if there’s a dispute between a buyer and seller? Our team will review the case and work toward a fair resolution.

Are there taxes or fees I need to know about? Any applicable fees or taxes will be shown clearly before completing a transaction.

Do I own the item after I buy it or sell it? Yes. Ownership transfers once the transaction is completed.
